LATHER was originally founded in 1999 by Emilie Hoyt, who discovered that the severe migraines she often experienced were triggered by synthetic fragrances found in most beauty products. Emilie’s explorer’s heart, natural curiosity and deep love for nature led her on a journey towards creating LATHER, a pioneering, head to toe skincare and wellness brand, now loved by loyal customers all over the world.
